CA Yoga Barre

What a fun/hard class! Alexa taught the 430 on Sunday and I went with my junior high age kid who is pretty athletic but doesn’t love sports… to give her an option to do something physical that isn’t competitive. So first of all- music was AWESOME. Class was fast paced and challenging but doable. I really enjoyed it and know I’m going to be sore tomorrow! I also loved that the emphasis was on strength and not body type/look etc. and the best part - my kiddo (who kind of complained about going initially) said - that was hard and fun and went by really fast! Will definitely be back.

This studio is absolutely fantastic! Sarah's Yin techniques and choice of music are wonderful. Attending her sessions each week brings me so much peace.

This is one of the best barre studios that I've been too. A lot of barre places try to make their classes overcomplicated and make you do advanced moves that are either not accessible strength-wise or technique-wise. The moves the teachers teach at this studio are also suitable for beginners, and they will also offer modifications too. Another thing that is nice is that the teachers will come around to offer adjustments to make sure your body is aligned correctly while doing the moves; I think this an important touch that not many studios do. The teachers also have such a welcoming and energetic attitude that is contagious. The music they play is great. I also would recommend the Physique class (which combines yoga with some light weights); it's fun and the music and the moves make the time fly. As for the location, the studio is clean, and there are two rooms- one for the yoga/physique and the other for barre. Yoga teachers also provide you with spray and an aroma-infused towel after to wipe down. There is one shower and changing space in each of the restrooms.

I cannot say enough how much I love this studio, been going here for a little over a year and am hooked! The array of different classes are all so fun and challenging! I just completed a 6 week Mama Barre workshop hosted by Nicole T ! The atmosphere of the yoga and barre classrooms are always so inviting. I love the challenge of a full body workout in 45 minutes. Did I mention you are able to bring your child? In the last six weeks I have seen awesome results. My body has definitely gotten stronger, more toned and I feel more energy. This six week workshop has really been a fun time. I have gotten the ability to be around other moms that are looking for the same goals. I didn’t feel out of place and felt like each class was building on the one prior. I think that this workshop is great for Moms that are looking for a killer workout, strong community and the ability to bring your little one to your workout! I had to sign up for the second series once it opened up! Awesome studio!

Cannot say enough nice things about this beautiful studio space, the teachers, and the community vibe. The teachers really are top notch and I’ve been impressed by their dedication to make each class special. They also offer many different styles of classes, including Yin, seniors and barre which is unique! The studio is such a gem to me and I highly recommend you come try a class. You will be welcomed warmly!
